Every room at Dolkhar reflects our belief that true luxury is found in craftsmanship, comfort, and a deep sense of place. Thoughtfully furnished with handmade pieces created across Ladakh, each space celebrates the region's rich traditions while offering the luxury of contemporary hospitality.

Handwoven sheep and yak wool rugs from the women of Kharnak in Changthang, woven cushion covers and throws by Superb Ladakh, traditional wooden dzems repurposed as waste bins, and laundry bags and notepads made from recycled materials by our friends at Pagir (People's Action Group for Inclusion and Rights) are among the many details that connect each room to the people and practices of the region.

Comfort remains central to every stay. Premium mattresses and fine linen are complemented by high-speed Wi-Fi, Smart TVs, a 24-hour intercom, wheelchair accessibility, oxygen support when required, access to a doctor on call, and a luggage room for guests arriving early or departing late.

Our bathroom amenities are custom-made for Dolkhar by Bare Necessities, a community-led, zero-waste company committed to thoughtful living, while our recycled toilet paper and napkins are supplied by GoodKarma. Our soaps are crafted locally using apple, sea buckthorn, and apricot by Ladags Organic Store, and guests will also find Dolkhar's signature coffee, custom-roasted by Bili Hu, alongside a selection of locally sourced teas, including buckwheat, sea buckthorn, barley, and wild Himalayan herbal infusions.
